Greetings, badgers, creepers, and supporters! We're joining forces this summer to raise money for kids across the United States in honor of GlamNation.
Badgers and creepers have already shown their generosity, team spirit, and willingness to pitch in where it counts via separate group projects, and we are now very proud to come together to show what we can do as a team!
My class and I would like to thank you for your generous mathematical donation to our classroom. The manipulative's that we have gained have helped my students be able to have more hands on experiences with math concepts.
When we have learned about adding and subtracting the students were able to use the double sided counters to help them count out their answers. When we learn about 3-d shapes the students will be able to touch the shapes to count the sides and corners instead of just seeing the shape on a piece of paper and having to guess. The base ten blocks will help my students be able to have hands on experiences with place value instead of just having to see paper strips.
Thank you so much for giving my students more hands on experiences and enriching their learning experiences.
Thank you thank you thank you for your kind and generous donations to my classroom. My students have been loving Percy Jackson! This book have proved to be a perfect fit for my sixth graders, who read on average at about a fourth grade level. It is action-packed, imaginative, well-written, and a 4.5 grade level. When I first showed the students the big box of books from Barnes and Noble, there was a lot of excitement (and grabbing). It was all I could do to keep the books out of the kids hands (it's weird to write that phrase) until the appropriate time. We have been much enriched by these books. Thank you again.”
Thank you all very much for your contributions to the arts and to education. Children in this area require more because they tend to have less at home. As you can see, or will see, by their letters they really do appreciate your help as well.
Each group was tasked with creating a teen health public service announcement. The three subjects chosen were bullying, suicide, and domestic violence. The students just finished shooting today and I am extremely excited to see what their final, edited products will be. We hope to share these videos with the rest of the school so that my students can teach their classmates about these very important issues. I hope that you enjoy the photographs and the letters. We are fortunate to have people like you that support education, our schools, teachers, and students.”
We, as a Pre-K class in Middle Georgia, are full of gratitude for the wonderful materials that all of the donors of this project have provided through donations. We really appreciate every donation and are so happy that you chose us to donate to.
Even though Pre-K students are emergent readers, the materials you donated to us will help them have a strong foundation as they grow as readers. We love to make all kinds of class books, and they love to draw and cut all kinds of paper. It's wonderful to see how proud they are of their work, and I love it when they want to take it home and share it with their families. Again, thanks for your help! We love y'all!”
Thanks so much for your most generous donation to my project "Let's Fill In the Low End!" The materials arrived as promised, and were in excellent condition.
The bass has been instrumental in completing our musical sound. Once you add the bass in, it's a BAND!
It is a great second instrument for my guitarists to learn. It's simple enough to play easy bass lines (I ought to know!), and the students enjoy the THUMP that the great quality bass amp makes! It is a great addition to our growing instrument collection.
Thank you so much for donating to our class project. I know it has been a while since then, but please now we have been using the construction paper and pencils for so many wonderful learning projects.
It's amazing how much learning can happen and the kids don't even know it because they are having so much fun! We have completed many projects in reading, writing, and science. I think the one of the rock cycle was the best!
Thanks again for helping our classroom. I wish you could see the impact your donation has made!”
Thank you all for your donations! My students were so excited to use the materials. They loved the books, the art supplies and the display materials. Your donation definitely helped my students to learn.
The kids ask for the books by name and get excited about arts and crafts again! It's great to see their faces, and their parents faces when they see them reading and drawing! We finally have a variety of books and materials for them to use. They really are smart kids and now they are able to show that off! Your donations are continuing to make a difference in our class! Thank you so much!”
Thank you so much for considering our work in Biotechnology when making your donations! As you know, life science research has great potential to improve our lives, but can often be too expensive for schools to purchase the necessary materials.
This lab kit was a great experience for my students to look in depth at how DNA is sequenced and how scientists use the NCBI database to design experiments to make recombinant plasmids. Much of the content and techniques that we teach in the biotech academy are abstract and hard for students to grasp. This kit greatly improves student access to this challenging material.
Once again, your generosity is greatly appreciated. My students now have a strong foundation in this technique and can plan experiments of their own in the future. ”
With gratitude,
Mr. Munzert
This classroom project was brought to life by Carolina Biological Supply Company and 10 other donors.
Thank you for your generous donation of supplies to my classroom. The markers, pencils, glue and colored pencils have helped my students to create literature-based projects and the Clorox wipes have helped keep our classroom clean and germ free.
Many of my students cannot afford to buy their own back to school supplies. Having markers, pencils, colored pencils and glue in my classroom takes the pressure off of the students and their families and helps them to enjoy school more.
Schools are filled with germs! Being able to wipe the desks, chairs and other surfaces with Clorox wipes has helped keep us healthy and healthy kids are able to come to school more often. Your donation of Clorox wipes ensures a better education for my students because they aren't home sick.
Thank you again for your contribution and for making such a positive impact on me and my students.”
I deeply appreciate the generous donation of tambourines to my classroom. With your support, I've created a positive learning environment that is very lively, yet promotes both leadership and creativity. The tambourines have made my class a lot of fun and has encouraged many of my students to learn more about capoeira and music.
Without your help, my students would never experience the magical power of music in capoeira and discover musician within them. Thanks for helping me inspire my students to learn.”
With gratitude,
Ms. San Agustin
