ART SMART, yes, today's students need to be! Help! There are so many cuts being made in ART education: teachers positions, vital supplies, technological advances to keep our students current and up to date, teaching schedules and in many cases class times are being cut. Yet, we as a nation, want bright, interesting, well-rounded students to graduate from our schools. There is a great deal more to educating our students than just the 3 R's. Please post your ART SMART projects on this site: the crayons you need, the cameras your students desire, the scissors, the paper, the art prints, the technology to take our students to the virtual ART world and any other ART Smart need! And those out there that support the ARTS, yes you, please consider donating to this site. HELP our students become the global citizens that we all want, versed and knowledgable of life around them. Let them discover the connections that the ARTS make! In today's economy all schools are feeling the deep holes left in their smock pockets, let's try and fill the gaps and support the ARTS.
