It is with mixed emotions that I am participating in Mustaches for Kids. That's right, for the next four weeks, I will be subjecting myself to public humiliation and private doubt by growing what will no-doubt be a ridiculous looking Mustache. In order to justify this endeavor I need your support. Please sponsor my Mustache by picking a classroom project from the list below to support. And wish me and my Mustache luck. I am so thankful for your generosity. The carpet you donated for my students has had a major impact on their daily learning.
My students love gathering on the carpet for morning message. The love to lounge out on the carpet and read books, and play math games on it. They also use the rhyming words on the carpet to help them with their writing.
Our school is suffering from these hard economic times, so without your generosity, we would have never been able to get this beautiful carpet.
Once again, thank you for your kind heart. Without people like you, my students and other deserving students would not received the supplies they need to help them get the education they deserve. ”
With gratitude,
Ms. Gracey

What an awe inspiring addition to the classroom. The Orff instruments arrived last Thursday and there was an immediate buzz from the students. When I opened one of the instruments the class could not believe what the box contained. They keep asking me if the instruments are for them to use and when I say yes, then they ask me again if the instruments are for them.
I hope from the pictures that you can see that they are a great group of kids. They were so afraid to use the instruments and they were shocked when the pretty notes were heard. Other teachers in the hallway stopped by to see where the beautiful music was coming from. I am so eager to incorporate the instruments into our daily lessons and watch my students move to music what they need in long term memory.”
Our wonderful new tenor saxophone arrived today! You should have seen the excitement on the faces of my students. They know the importance of a balanced sound in the band and how this instrument will help to even out our sound. Thank you so much for supporting this project. This instrument would have never been able to fit into our school budget. My students and I are so grateful for your generosity. This instrument will be able to balance out our band for many years to come. Thank you again for your support and for giving us the gift of music.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Engelhard
