    My students and I are so grateful for your generous spirit and for supporting our learning. The students who benefited from your donation were introduced to literature that is typically used at the college level. For many of them, it was their first novel in Spanish. You can imagine the sense of accomplishment it gave them to be able to understand the text and discuss it. From the teacher perspective, it gave me great joy to share my passion for Peninsular literature.

    Thank you many times over for helping bring a piece of Spanish history into our school! If you ever feel moved to read a simple, but thematically robust and witty novel from the 16th century, let me know! I'll lend you a copy of one of our books!”

    It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child. As a teacher I have discovered just how true this is. You are our village. Your generosity has far exceeded my expectations and thanks to you, my students get to learn about how to take pictures and video, edit and turn them into digital masterpieces. I cannot begin to describe the sheer joy in the faces of my students the first time I handed them the cameras. In addition to the resources, these cameras help to build a digital citizenship amongst my students. Learning to use technology properly is an extremely important skill in this day and age. One of the greatest benefits is something that most people take for granted, the opportunity to smile. I love to see our kids smile and for them to feel that they are worth having a picture or video taken is the best gift anyone could receive. I hope you will continue to contribute to these projects and continue to give the gift of smiles to the many villages in need. ”
