  • Classroom "What-nots"

    Funded Feb 22, 2009

How can I thank you enough for your generous gift? I'm sending my students' notes as a start! This way I can share with you a bit of these amazing students I get to teach every day. Enclosed is a roll of film of when I presented t-stool you supplied to the student. He thoroughly enjoyed looking at and using the new t-stool!

I work with many physical therapists in the district who travel from school to school and now they will not have to lug along a t-stool, it can just stay at my school for the student to use! And with that he can use it more often! Thank you for being such a generous person!”

    With gratitude,

    Teacher

  • Dictionaries for Learning

    Funded Dec 30, 2008

I am so grateful to all donors who have helped to fund the new dictionaries for my students. It is going to be so refreshing to be able to use reliable dictionaries with up to date definitions and easy to understand etymologies. With so many demands being placed on our school to increase test scores with a declining budget, it isn't easy to find money for new resources as needed. These dictionaries will not only allow my students to better understand vocabulary, but will allow them to become more active readers and advanced writers. I cannot wait to see the impact on my students when I can allow each student to use his/her own dictionary during class. Thank you so much for your generosity and support”

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our CREEPY CRAWLERS ZOO! Your kindness is greatly appreciated. In a school district where supplies and materials are hard to come by it is nice to know that people, like you, have the heart to give. My students often require kinesthetic learning opportunities, so with your caring donation you have created an additional opportunity for them to learn! Thank you”

  • Look! I Can Read This Book!

    Funded Dec 17, 2008

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I can not begin to thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. You cannot imagine what an impact your thoughtful act of giving will do for my children!

With your donation, I will be able to provide new reading materials for my students that will most definitely help increase their reading skills. These materials are designed to help struggling readers strengthen their decoding, fluency and comprehension skills.

They have been reading the same books over and over for the past 4 months. Reading was becoming a boring chore for some of my most reluctant readers. But now, I will be able to bring back some enthusiasm and desire for reading again. I am so excited that they will now have some new and fresh reading materials in just a few weeks.

Thank you so much for your support for my students. Your donation is truly appreciated!

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. ”

  • Classroom Library One (Please Help Inner City Kids!)

    Funded Oct 17, 2008

Thank you so much for your gracious donation. You have no idea how much it means to me and will mean to my students. Every year I strive more and more to make an impression on their lives and to teach them the value of education. These books are one step in the right direction. By ensuring a large selection of independent reading books in my classroom, I have increased the likelihood that my students will find a book, pick it up, and read it with enjoyment, discovering a whole new world that reading has to offer that they never knew existed. And by doing so, I will build lifelong readers. And strong readers are almost always successful in school. Thank you”
