My students have made lots of growth this year in thier vocabulary development and I believe a lot of that is due to thier time with the Tag Books. They have told me that they like to be able to slide the reader on a picture and are told what the picture or word means.

Thank you, thank you for our wonderful tent and water/picnic table! We have just begun to use our outdoor space as we have a few warmer days. Our children pulled weeds yesterday as we prepare our courtyard for spring. We have a class full of very active learners who really enjoy being outside and learning in new and fun ways. We are looking forward to warm spring days and taking our lessons outside. We were hoping to go out today and what happens? Rain! And lots of it!

Once again I can not thank you enough for your extreme generosity in providing these iPods for my classroom. My students have been so thrilled to use them and they ask for them on a daily basis. Not only are they being used during mandatory literacy centers but the students are also asking for them to "play" during their choice center time as well. My students are learning their letters and sounds as well as blending and decoding skills in a fun and engaging way. They are learning without even realizing they are learning because they simply think they are playing. My students and I are so very grateful to you for your generosity and your passion to help children learning the basic skill of reading.”
I can't fully express my gratitude for your generous donations. My students have shown a lot of improvements since we began using our materials. We use our reading skills activity pack, fluency listening activity, and flip and read sight word sentences every day during center time.
I have utilized our nonfiction readers and first little readers set during my small group reading time. The students really enjoy these books. They have shown improvement in their reading skills and levels.
The students also enjoy the fluency station. It is everyone's favorite center. They get to use a microphone to interview others while working on fluency. There are also partner scripts that they have fun acting out.
Your donations have definitely made our language arts center time more exciting and enjoyable. You have made a big difference in the lives of my students.”
My class and I want to thank you so much for your donations to my project. We are using the document camera everyday in all subject areas. The first day was a treat! The class enjoyed using the document camera with math manipulatives. It made the subtraction lesson on re-grouping much easier to explain to the students. We have used the document camera on a daily basis with writing, also. Now I do not have to run to make an overhead in the teachers' room. We see the writing instantly and all the children want their work to appear on the screen. Thank you for making learning much more interactive and bringing my class into the 21st century!”
