Thank you so much for the valuable resources you gave to my classroom. My students we very excited about getting the chance to open their very own geodes, many hade never seen a real crystal before. Quite a few students came up to me the next day to tell me again thank you for letting them do that, and how neat it was to be able to go home and show a parent what they discovered.
I am also very grateful for the mineral testing kit. It is a wonderful resource to have in the class, the students we able to get a better grasp on what they are learning because of the hands on material. They really enjoyed getting to actually hold and test real mineral samples, not just to see them in the text book. The majority of them stated that their favorite part to the mineral testing was seeing what could scratch each mineral.
Your kind generosity was very much appreciated by myself and my students. I am excited to even have geodes left over for my students next year to use. The mineral testing kit will come in very handy for quite a few years to come. Your kindness has helped my students succeed in their lessons and give them a new appreciation for learning about science.”
I cannot express enough how thankful our classroom is for your generous donation to provide us with an LCD projector. The students in each of my five science classes clapped and cheered upon hearing news of our funded project. We use the projector every single day in our classroom and it has helped greatly with differentiating the learning experience for my students.
Thanks to your donation, the students have been able to visualize planets and other celestial bodies by watching high definitions videos. We have used the projector to watch online simulations of electromagnetic radiation and our solar system. When reviewing for quizzes and tests, I've made exciting Jeopardy games for the students to compete against each other to demonstrate their knowledge on a topic. We also were lucky enough to gain access to a document camera now that we have a projector. I often have students project their assignments as examples for other students.
In addition to increasing the modes of instruction in my classroom, the projector has been an invaluable resource due to the limited budget and high poverty experienced at my school. Several students at my school cannot afford necessary eyeglasses and struggle seeing writing on whiteboards when sitting in the front row. With the new projector, I can zoom in on text to allow all students to read important information. Additionally, my school is struggling to afford paper and toner for the copy machine. We have gone weeks at a time without being able to make copies. The projector allows me to display the required instructions, problems, graphs, and tables so the students can learn and practice new skills.
Thank you again for supporting our science classroom. You have truly made a difference in the educational experience of my students.”

Thank you very much for donating the Earth Science materials to my classroom. We have just recently gotten to studying this very important topic, and the students are beginning to enjoy using the materials. Before the Christmas break the students got to visit the Water Cycle Center. The students were very excited about using it. It had been on a shelf and they kept asking about it. Finally the day came when during center rotations they were able to go to the water cycle center. It was a huge hit with them! I believe they not only enjoyed that particular center, but they also gained useful knowledge and practice from it.
I think the most exciting gift we received is the stream table. It will still be a few weeks before we get to that, but the students are really looking forward to setting it up in the classroom. They ask about it constantly.
Thank you again for helping my students. It means so much to us to have people care enough to donate. ”

Thank you for your generosity in making it possible for my students to have the benefit of reading their individual copy of the MRS. FRIZZLE book! In the past, I have read this book to my students and held it aloft so the class ( 32 students!) could all see the illustrations. Needless to say, it's much more effective for each child to have their own copy of the book, so they can immerse themselves in the text and the rich illustrations.
Our study of rocks and minerals will be enhanced by the inclusion of this book in our science curriculum. In its whimsical style and content-rich text, the book serves as an excellent overview of our unit. I appreciate your contribution to our class!”

Thank you for contributing to our project, "What is this Earth..". You have made it possible for 30 Kindergarten students to have the proper learning materials to help bring Science alive in the classroom. As you can see from our photographs, we love hands-on learning, and our new materials have made is easier, fun, and engaging to learn about the seasons, the Earth, and the Solar System. These engaging Science materials also help us to master the state Science standards and help to supplement our Earth&Sky unit with rich materials. Thank you again for your generosity. My students look forward to sending you thank you letters to express their appreciation.”

The graphing calculator viewscreen has arrived! It is a fabulous addition to the teacher resources for my statistics courses. We utilize the graphing calculator literally daily. This tool is excellent because students can now cross check their own screen with the projection of my own screen. This helps them feel like they are on track and confident that they are keeping up with their peers and with the teacher.
I have started using one student as the 'driver' of the viewscreen calculator to keep the rest of the class on track. This allows me the flexibility to circulate the room to help troubleshoot individual issues and concerns.
This tool adds valuable technology to our daily instruction. Thank you for bringing my classroom into the 21st century!”
I cannot thank you enough for giving my students the opportunity to experience firsthand a well-funded science inquiry project. Although your reasons for contributing may have been slightly different it is clear that we all think science education is an incredibly important component to secondary education, and good hands-on science projects need to be a part of a student’s high school experience.
The project compels the students to conduct experiments and build the basic theories of light from their own observations. It is a challenging and very rewarding process to participate in this type of science project, and not every student gets a chance to experience this. This is true now more than ever because of shrinking school budgets and increasing demand for test preparation. We are fortunate to be in a school that can offer this type of science experience, but we are even more fortunate to have people like you generously contributing to make it possible. It will certainly be something that many of the students will remember for years to come.
You have contributed to supplies that will not only be used this semester, but for many semesters to come. Your contribution will have a lasting affect on our educational program.”
With gratitude,
Teacher
