I want to express my appreciation for your generosity in support of my students' education. Your personal commitment was incredibly helpful and allowed us to bring learning to life.
The math stuffed shapes allowed my students to feel and see a visual example of what a two dimensional shape looks like and the attributes each shape has. The three dimensional shapes allowed my students to see the difference between two dimensional and three dimensional shapes. They were also able to learn properties of three dimensional shapes such as finding volume. The place value game allowed my students to develop an understanding of the base ten system and how it works. My students are now able to identify the value of each digit in a number. They are also able to write numbers using base ten blocks. By having an understanding of place value it will help my students later in the year as we learn about rounding and odd/even numbers. The fraction game is helping my students visually see different fractions and compare them. They are also able to see how fractions work and how we can write fractions. All of these materials have allowed math to come alive in my classroom. We are excited to continue using these resources throughout the year.
Our school is currently facing a budget shortfall, so without your help, my students would never have had the opportunity to use these vital resources. My students and I appreciate having generous donors like you. ”
Thank You very much for your generosity School just began this week. My students are very bright and always eager to attempt new things.Iam encouraged by you all. I never imagined that total strangers would do this. You are all a real blessing .You have been a port in the storm for my students. They will have the opportunity to learn about many great styles of art and about the artist who have created the art from literature that is not readily available to them. Your donations have made this literature available. They will be inspired to create works of art based on their readings. They will also become aware of future possibilities of careers in the future. Thanks Again”
Again, I wish to express my gratitude for your generous donations toward my project "Reading A Book On A Nook". We are out of school for the summer, but over half of my students will return to my class next year. I have already begun to research books appropriate for my students to download over the summer, as well as apps that will help track their progress over time in reading. I am excited to return in the fall with my new reading station set up and for my students to make significant gains in reading. ”
Thank you for your extreme generosity This project will be the first one my students will begin when we return from our summer break. I will combine it with a science lesson on flowers and gardens.
This is very exciting .I know my students will be thrilled. Our school has lots of windows from which we view the neighborhood . There are no gardens in sight. The students don't get to go outside and enjoy nature very much either .This project will allow us to enjoy nature through the influence of Monet. It will be something my students will cherish for years to come,
Monet's Garden will allow my students to make real world connections in their environment while creating two and three dimensional original artworks that demonstrate personal expression. It will also allow them to do extended learning in many areas,Monet was a great artist not only in garden paintings but in other areas as well. My students will be able to study Monet in depth and at great length. This will be a joyful experience for them. ”
With gratitude,
Ms. Winchester
