My Project
I am super excited!! If you know anything about teenagers, they don't like to participate in class much...they would rather sit there and wait for someone else, or until the teacher gives them the answer. When I ask a question I often recall the scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, where the teacher is taking attendance and is saying..."Bueller..Bueller...Bueller..." with nothing but blank stairs. That is frequently my life.
QBall to the rescue, this ball is a microphone that you toss around to students to talk into, what kid wouldn't want to try that?!
I honestly think this will greatly improve participation in my classes. I know that there will still be a few students who will prefer to stay quiet, but I honestly think this will get some of my more reluctant students to come out of their shells a bit, and wouldn't that be great? I see this as being a real game changer with my students. And the great thing is that it will connect to the speaker that is already in my room.
Thank you for your support of my students and I look forward to hearing more from my students.
