Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Currently, our students do not have dependable access to sporting equipment during their lunch recess. Their access to getting active with sporting games is dependent on if a student is able to bring their own equipment.
Getting the funding for this project will allow consistent and equitable access to physical activity for our 9th-grade students.
I know our students knowing that they can look forward to playing basketball or volleyball in the gym during their lunch or getting some sun outside playing soccer or football, would make such a difference in their school day.
