My Project
My students come from various cultures and backgrounds. Students will be so thrilled and excited to learn and celebrate the Lunar New Year, which is celebrated all across the globe. The Lunar New Year is a fifteen-day celebration marked by many traditions.
I would love to do an activity with the students, engaging them in an inclusive, fun learning environment.
They will be learning about Chinese New Year and then work on creating an ELA essay about why Chinese people celebrate Chinese New Year and why they do so. They will also write about how their traditions are similar to how Chinese New Year is celebrated.
