This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project will provide basic supplies for my band students. These supplies are necessary in order to keep the instruments in proper playing condition, or are necessary for a production of sound on their instrument, or keeping them organized in class.

When students are already struggling with how to play an instrument, in addition to other life issues, a lack of the necessary supplies can add to the frustration of learning and could cause a student to stop trying.

With your help, we can eliminate that source of frustration for them so that they can focus on developing their performance skills and lead them towards true enjoyment of music performance.
