I teach gifted students in grades K-5. They are amazing, intelligent, creative children who accomplish great things every day! These students are our current and future leaders. While in class, they create, research, collaborate, practice computational thinking skills, and so much more. We want to get our students excited about STEAM activities to help them be prepared for their futures.
By adding LEGO kits to my STEM library, I will be giving my students more opportunities to improve their engineering skills, while working on increasing their social/emotional learning by providing teamwork and conflict resolution opportunities.
