Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at a Title I school that has an incredible after school program name 21st CENTURY TEAM UP that serves our wonderful community. This is a free low income program, but we have a limited budget for games and toys , art, sports for our students. We typically will use the playground on campus, but with the Florida weather, there are many days that we cannot go outside due to rain. We also would like to add a STEM and Arts and Crafts time to our program. Our kids love to paint rocks , canvas , scratch paper art …
Our students have spent all day in the classroom working hard and We want them to experience enriching activities during this bonus after school time.
Please help give our students indoor play ( Legoes, blocks, puzzles) and stock our art supply center.
