I teach gifted students in grades K-5. They are amazing, intelligent, creative children who accomplish great things every day! These students are our current and future leaders. While in class, they create, research, collaborate, practice computational thinking skills, and so much more.
We want to get our students excited about STEAM activities to help them be prepared for their futures.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities strengthen skills such as planning, teamwork, creative problem solving, flexible thinking, and perseverance. Recent research shows that jobs in the STEAM fields are growing significantly and there aren't enough students following these career paths to fill all of the jobs. By encouraging students to enjoy STEM activities in school, we may just open their eyes to new possibilities for the future.
These Beebots would make a great addition to our classroom because they are user-friendly and perfectly sized for little hands, not to mention adorable!
