My Project
I am a Speech Language Pathologist providing language therapy and communication intervention. My students are striving to learn to express themselves effectively in the classroom. My students are extraordinary individuals who choose to overcome challenges and adversity every time they come into the classroom. Through close collaboration with my student's team of classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents we promote language growth to help our future leaders of tomorrow succeed in both their personal and academic goals.

The Teacher Talk workshop is a virtual training to develop skills to be able to best support, coach and train the parents and staff who work with my students daily. Through this course, I will also receive the materials associated with course required to comprehensively support my students, their teachers and parents. The CDI sets (part of the MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories) and the Teacher Interaction and Language Rating Scale are objective methods to track progress and success in teaching various language strategies. I am excited to be able to further support the needs of my students through the knowledge learned in this training. Thank you!
