My students are part of a Title I school, which means that majority of them come from lower income homes. With that also comes a lot of burdens that these children carry into school with them.
My classroom environment is set up so students can relax and feel comfortable while learning.
This also increase their growth in learning. Providing flex seating in my classroom will allow students the comfort of learning outside of a desk. I remember being a young child once and laying on bean bag reading my favorite book, no cares in the world.
