Help me give my students Lego brick sets to develop a variety of skills.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. N.'s classroom raised $341

My Students
My students are an amazing group of students full of friendly competition that truly want to come to school to learn. They enjoy the variety of activities we have going on in our classroom.
Our school is a positive behavior support school and it shows in our student body and faculty.
The students care about each other and we focus on more than academic instruction to prepare them for the future. Character education is an important part of that future.
My Project
My students will benefit from having Lego sets because it will help them with a variety of skills. Students will build collaboration skills as they learn to work with others to plan and build, enhancing speech and language skills. Students will develop problem solving skills and spatial awareness. Other ways Lego bricks benefit students is that they help build fine motor skills. A number of my students struggle with legible handwriting and coordination. These activities will help them to improve while enjoying what they are doing. All of these skills will help my students improve in all subject areas as they learn to work together, problem solve, and persevere when things are tough.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
