Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach social studies in a high-need community with the majority of my students English language learners.
In order for my students to be able to compete in National History Day and against other schools, we need the computer technology to create documentaries.
If my classroom receives a Mac laptop, we will have the resources to create a History Day documentary. My students will be able to take their primary documents and their historical thesis and transform them into a historical documentary worthy of competition against other schools.
With your help, this laptop will allow my students to feel as if they can compete and succeed against other students in their city and state, regardless of where they come from.
