My Students

The students in my classroom are fun-loving, energetic, and ready to "make their brains grow" every single day. They come to school and leave each day with a smile on their faces. They are at the age where they are still impressionable and I try to make each day a positive experience for them.

They love learning new concepts and discovering a love for learning.

I like to teach in a fun, hands-on way so that all students are interested. By donating to this project students will gain another reason to love coming to school.

My Project

Many of my students come from low income households and have never traveled out of the county we live in. My kindergarten team would love to give them the experience of traveling to the Lexington Children's Theatre and watch "A Charlie Brown Christmas" theatrical performance.

Most of our students will never get this opportunity without this trip.

LCT creates imaginative and compelling theatre experiences for young people. This theatre has a collective aspiration to impart, explore, foster, and develop artistry at all levels and ages in every theatrical discipline and educational opportunity. Lexington Children’s Theatre provides teachers with electronic Play Guides designed especially for enhancing the experience of attending an LCT production. This includes information and activities for the play. Each activity is designed to help us achieve the corresponding Kentucky Core Content.
