My students are amazing! They are diverse students who need your help. My students are from the inner city portions of my school district, and many times the students are very transient. Our neighborhood has experienced some hard times recently, but with your help we can provide some great musical experiences for students in impoverished neighborhoods. Music is a valued part of the day in our school, and we hope to make it even more meaningful as we go forward.
My Project
We need room to move! Having stands on our instruments will help maximize our space and give us room to move. And when we need to use our instruments, it's as easy as rolling them back out with the new stands!
Right now our instruments are placed on tables that take up a size-able chunk of our room.
The tables get in our way when we need to dance, and they are not easy to move out of the way quickly.
With rolling stands, students will be able to use our space for movement activities as well as instrument time!
