My Students

My students are creative, inspiring, and enthusiastic learners. They all come from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. These students' diversity and common thirst for knowledge provide authentic opportunities to grow and learn from each other everyday.

The diversity and uniqueness that each student brings to our school helps foster an atmosphere of acceptance and respect for all in our community.

More than 50% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. These students represent 65 countries and speak 85 different languages, but our students defy these labels. They all are students who come to our school seeking a common environment where they are given the opportunity to be successful.

My Project

This ART SMART TV CART will offer our whole department the opportunity to present our lessons, and art media in a technological enhanced presentation that will help us inspire our students' creativity.

The opportunity to use this technology to inspire students' creativity has limitless possibilities.

This may be by creating our own You Tube demonstrations to help teach our students how to use new materials; or it may be used as a tool to foster the appreciation of a master artist of the past. This technology has the unique opportunity to captivate the young creative minds of the future with both historical and contemporary ambitions.
