Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students are an exceptional group of kids! I teach Art and Science to every student in the school! We love to make art that reflects and enforces our knowledge of science concepts. Each grade makes two ceramic projects each year. This year will be no exception. We will be making moon phase bowls, bee skeps, soil layers with fossils and many other fun projects.
We love to make art to share with our friends and families.
We're used to getting our hands dirty because we're kids! Help us polish up our clay projects with a coat of shiny glaze that will make us proud to be artists-
My Project
Students will be able to glaze their ceramic projects when they have access to the requested glazes that are safe and easy to use. Students will learn about color harmony, how light reflecting off a surface gives an object color and how to make clay projects that they can use at home, safely. Students will also learn about warm and cool colors.
Students will be confident in the use of color on ceramic projects that they will take home to keep forever.
Your contribution will give every student many colors to choose from in order that we can make our best work to share.
