Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students come from a poverty area in Los Angeles into my classroom ready to learn and explore. A typical day in my classroom is fun.
My students with autism take pride in their work and are very eager to learn.
I motivate and praise my students to do their best and not give up. My students love to learn and they are active and energetic. They are in kindergarten and have autism.
My students learn best with hands-on interactive materials. They are more engaged and eager to learn when learning can be turned into a fun, active moment, through colorful and interactive activities.
My students lack the basic resources at home and unfortunately, the resources available in my classroom are very limited. The classroom has been evolving for decades and continues to do so. Please help my students to become successful.
My Project
The smart TV requested will be used by each student to increase language and social development, as well as academic goals. The television requested will be used to benefit each student with their specific individual and developmental needs. My students need a smart TV to access language arts, math, science, social studies, music and arts lessons online. Using a smart TV to illustrate and animate these subjects will mean so much to my students. Providing a smart TV will bring education to life. The benefits of smart TV technology would give my students the opportunity to use advanced technology for assistance in reading and research specifically in the areas of art. My students also need a television with Smart TV capabilities so that they may use it with their classroom wii console to exercise and dance. The students can see themselves perform as well. My students can also use the smart TV with their classroom Apple TV and iPad to display their digital art and projects, so they can collaborate on their projects as a class.
It is our students to whom we entrust the responsibility of building a better global society.
The donated smart TV will allow enough flexibility for them to learn differently and become prepared for the twenty-first century, as well as meet common core standards. My students will greatly benefit from the donations. They will be able to access the smart TV to their unique needs.
