  • Choose Kind

    Funded Feb 27, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donation of kindness journals for my class to accompany our reading of the novel, Wonder. Your support has truly inspired my students to embrace the themes of kindness and empathy found in the book. When the materials arrived, their faces lit up with excitement! They couldn't wait to start writing in their journals and share their thoughts on how to be better humans.

Currently, we are using the kindness journals for a classroom project where students reflect on their daily acts of kindness and how they can spread positivity within our school community. This has led to some heartfelt discussions and a greater sense of camaraderie among classmates. As we continue our journey through Wonder, the students will be using their journals to create a kindness campaign, where they will brainstorm and implement ways to promote kindness throughout the school. We appreciate your support in making this meaningful project possible!”

  • Pi Day Celebration

    Funded Mar 6, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our Pi Day party project. Your support has made a significant impact, allowing us to create a fun and engaging learning experience for our students. They were thrilled to use the new resources, especially when we organized a math-centric scavenger hunt that incorporated pi-themed challenges. The excitement on their faces when they first saw the materials was priceless, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about mathematics in a creative way.

As we continue our current lessons on circles and ratios, your contributions will enable us to delve deeper into these concepts through hands-on activities. We look forward to sharing more moments from our classroom as our students explore and celebrate the wonders of math!”

  • Coding Drone Light Show with CoDrone Edu

    Funded Jan 1, 2025

We kicked off our drone adventure by introducing students to block programming, starting with simple flight patterns. One of our first classroom projects involved programming drones to complete an obstacle course. Students worked in small teams, brainstorming and troubleshooting their code to ensure the drones could navigate through hoops and around cones successfully. This project not only honed their coding skills but also encouraged teamwork and problem-solving in a fun and interactive way.

When we unveiled the CoDrone.edu drones, the classroom erupted with excitement! Students were amazed by the sleek design and eager to explore how the drones worked. Some immediately started brainstorming what they could program the drones to do, while others were captivated by the idea of flying them. It was a moment filled with curiosity and enthusiasm as they realized the potential of these tools.

Thank you for helping us turn our classroom into a hub of innovation and exploration! Your support has truly empowered our students to dream big and think creatively about their futures.”

  • Compassion with a Side of Wonder

    Funded Oct 1, 2024

Our classroom is filled with "Wonder" over your help funding our Compassion with a Side of Wonder Project! Thank you so much for filling our hearts and our heads. Students have spent time learning about their strengths and how they can use these strengths to help others. They have also learned about compassion, and what it means to be compassionate to others even when others do not want or appear to need any help.

Thank you for teaching my students how to put more kindness into the world through this amazing novel. We have many different abled learners in our school, and this book really hit home with our students. Thank you again for your compassion in funding this project for our classroom.”

  • Inspiring Totes

    Funded May 14, 2024

I definitely underestimated how excited kids would be about tote bags! They talked about these for weeks, and they all loved the fact that they could personalize their bags themselves. Students are no longer forgetting key items for class and dropping snacks along the way. Thank you so much for supporting our class with this generous donation. I watched in awe as they carefully designed and became so excited about decorating their own bags. Kids always remind us that simple things matter. Thank you for believing in this simple project to show my students how much they matter to the world. Thank you!”

  • VR Classroom Transformation

    Funded May 6, 2024

Wow! Thank you for allowing our classroom to transport students through this VR portal into another universe! The VR project has grown so much excitement in my classroom, and I cannot thank you enough! Students are begging to learn more about space, the rainforest, and other countries. The cultural aspect of the VR headset has been incredible!

We soon hope to have VR pen pals to learn more about cultures all over the world. Right now, we are exploring space and looking for archetypes (our ELA unit) throughout the various worlds. Thank you for bringing VR into our classroom to open up our world on a global level!”

  • Brainstorming Brilliance

    Funded Aug 17, 2024

Thank you for investing in our brainstorming whiteboard! Students use this board daily to brainstorm collaborative ideas and projects. Kids love the joy of writing on the whiteboard where they can write larger and share bigger ideas. Students prefer using the whiteboard over paper because it is easier to share ideas and collaborate more meaningfully.

Thank you so much for believing in our students' future and for helping them get excited about learning and curious about the world around them! Learning to collaborate is an important step in their education. I appreciate your support!”
