Thank you so much for investing in my students. I'm grateful for the opportunity to model and show my students reading is fun and exciting. My students picked out 5 brand new books to take home. The sight word books helped my students practice reading sight words learned in class. A few of my students received books in Spanish which made it easier for their parents to read to them. After each book my students drew a picture of something they remember happening in the book. I sent home a list of basic questions for parents to ask their child after reading each book. My students loved receiving new books. Thank you so much.”

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity and fully funding our project this previous school year. As mentioned in my project request, I wanted to provide my students with a visual demonstration of understanding a concept being taught or modeling how to complete an assignments, and I was able to do just that. My students were so appreciative that I was able to model and show visual demonstrations using the whiteboard that was funded for our classroom. As you may know students were virtual (online) and it became challenging trying to show examples of how to solve a problem using the computer. When I would work out a problem or example on the whiteboard students could see it and understand the process better. We are beyond grateful for your generous donation and helping us have a whiteboard in our classroom. Thank you again.”

Thank you so much for helping me with step one of the process of teaching from home. This was such a challenging period for students and educators. With the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I was able to purchase products that could be used virtually. The activities were engaging and students thought using them enhanced their understanding of the topics and standards that were taught. The best part of having these products is that this is a gift that continues to give and will be used for years to come. Again, thank you so much.”

We had to wait until the end of the year, but we finally got to do some great hands-on science with our owl pellets! Only two of my students even knew what an owl pellet was and many were hesitant to touch one at first. With a little encouragement, they jumped right into the task!
Students were asked to carefully dissect the owl pellet to find as many bones, claws, and teeth as possible. Then they glued their findings to a paper and identify the bone and the animal they believe it came from. A few students were able to find very interesting specimens and they became very excited to share what they found with their classmates. We even had online classmates pick up an owl pellet and join us in the dissection fun!
It was so wonderful to see excitement in students who had such a difficult school year! I truly appreciate your donation to help make this year end in a positive way.”

Thank you providing our classroom resources for my students to be successful. Materials are used to help myself find materials easier in the classroom, teach Math and Reading skills to my students in a hands-on way. My students have learned so much this year and the materials have helped that be possible.
The Math materials helped my students by seeing real objects when teaching Math and manipulate them even within a virtual setting. Also, the markers have helped so much because it is easier to see color through Microsoft Teams. I am so thankful that I received these materials! My students are excelling in Math!
I used the other materials to organize my materials to be proficient in my teaching. I use the organizer to organize materials I will use for each day of the week (Tuesday through Friday, planning is on Mondays). It has helped me stay organized. The magnet bookshelves helped me find materials easily while teaching. I really appreciate your support!”
Thank you so much for your generous donations towards my family enrichment project. I was able to provide my families with a literacy kit to help my students with letter and sound recognition while at home. The feedback that I received from my families was extreme gratitude. They enjoy playing the game with their child. My students came back to school telling me all about their new letter game and how much fun it was playing with their family members.
Thank you again to all the Donors who helped make my project a success.”

I want to express my extreme gratitude for your generosity. Because of your donation, I was able to teach "They Called Us Enemy" by George Takei to my Social Injustice: The Holocaust and Modern Genocide course. This was the first year the course was offered at my school and we had limited funds to obtain resources for it. With your help we were able to get enough copies of the graphic novel so that each student could check out a copy. This was super important because students are currently not allowed to share materials due to Covid-19 concerns.
My students loved reading this book! They enjoyed the fact it was a graphic novel and a "break" from typical school reading. They also enjoyed learning about Japanese American internment camps, as many of them had heard very little about that aspect of American history. Through reading "They Called us Enemy" students were able to attach a personal testimony to the history and discuss dangers of prejudice.
Along with reading the graphic novel, student compared the Japanese American internment camps to Nazi concentration camps. Through the comparing and contrasting the different camps and the means in which each country sent people to the camps students were able to recognize that prejudice and actions based on fear are not just present in other countries, but in our own as well.
This project empowered them to be more diligent in how they view those different than themselves. None of the wonderful observations and insightful discussions had in class would have been possible without your help!”

Thank you so much for your donation to our school. We are so glad there are people out there willing to help out when there is so much need. We are able to provide our students who can't afford the luxuries others can. It's always great to see their faces when they are provided with such great tools.
The help from people like you gives the power to change the lives of these students and allows them to grow and become successful adults. Thank you so much for your donation and we are extremely lucky for donors like you.”

Our Pre K class is truly thankful for the two ipads and covers you provided for us. These are our only technological devices and the children have been thrilled to learn methods of doing skills the technological way!
We do a daily play plan that involves deciding what the child wants to do and drawing a picture and writing a sentence about it. We have learned to do this on our iPads and it like the process has become a whole new activity. They are thrilled to be able to take turns using the iPad for their play plan. They have also enjoyed the SeeSaw activities that integrate the many pre academic skills that we are learning.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to have these little ones experience activities using technology and to begin to learn to manipulate and use iPads before going to kindergarten. This will give them a huge boost as they enter kindergarten with yet another skill already in place!”
