My students have benefited greatly from the materials donated to help bring literacy and writing to their homes as we were doing hybrid and online learning. Many families were able to see their students growth as they learned to write letters and have materials to maniuplate online. These materials really brought the online experience alive for them, because they had magnetic letters and dry erase boards to manipulate, spell their names and make words, while the teacher models online. These materials provided additional support to families that help ease the burden of having to purchase or find appropriate materials within the home. Thank you so much for your donations, most importantly our students thank you!”

My students have thoroughly enjoy their manipulatives and it has helped them understand the more complicated math skills! When my students first saw the manipulatives, they were VERY excited to get to use them and even ask to use them!
They really enjoy the fraction multiplication manipulative because it helps them understand and actually see what is happening. One of my students was actually so excited to be able to use these because he finally understood it. I cannot thank you all enough for donating to my classroom and helping out my students!”

The pandemic really messed up so much with education and schools. The ipad I received helped me to better serve my students while we were learning virtually. It was a great tool to hook up to my computer and write on the ipad where my students were able to see it on their screens. It made teaching math and solving math problems so much easier through a screen.
My students really appreciated being able to have real time notes and practice problems on their screens. The ipad also allowed me to easily create learning videos for my students.
I appreciate everyone who gave and funded this project!”

Thank you all for supporting this project. Through your generosity, we have been able to customize learning for our students. The direct result of this has allowed nonverbal students to have a voice and be an active member of the school community. This project is one that keeps on giving, as it will continue to be utilized for multiple groups of students. Our students absolutely love to participate in life skills activities, and the use of a color printer for visual supports cannot be replaced. The students and families in the adapted curriculum class at Kernodle Middle School thank you all!”

This writing easel has been a lifesaver in the classroom. Our scholars have been able to demonstrate their writing ability as well as use the magnetic board to form letters. The easel is able to be moved to different areas of the classroom for easy use in different groups. The storage area under the white board allows our scholars to have quick access their supplies without looking for them each time. The double sided capability allows anchor charts to remain on one side while students can write on the opposite side and refer to the anchor chart.”
Thank you for much for taking the time and helping me diversify the library in our classroom. Small projects like this make a big impact in our curriculum and reading opportunities for my students. While I look around the classroom I want my students to be able to find themselves in the books they read and they are grabbing and wanting the books you helped get into their hands. Your donation is very much appreciated. I look forward to reading these books to my class and having our students read them during our school day.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation and help funding my project. Reading is fundamental and big part of our daily schedule. My students enjoyed listening to our new books in the Social Studies Library. They were able to explore different types of community helpers, moods and emotions, and differing abilities. After reading each book students would draw a picture to reflect on what they learned. I was able to put the books in various centers around the classroom. I introduced the following skills: parts of a book (title, author, illustrator, front of the book, back of the book, spine), picture walk, retelling, and sequencing.
Thank you so much for helping my class.”

When my students returned to school this past month the benefit of having readily available headphones for their use was amazing. It provides privacy while they are working on I-Ready and assists during remote learning as well. It is difficult for the kids to adapt to a mask and headphones so this has been extremely beneficial. A comfortable pair of headphones makes everything much easier for my students. Many of my kids come from low-income families that are not able to provide nice headsets. My kids have autonomy in their learning and the freedom to express themselves while learning. The growth they have made speaks for itself. I am forever grateful for your support. Thank you so much!”

The new materials that you got for us is being use in the classroom and at home during this time. Using the material to make potato heads and measuring the length was a fun projects we were able to do in the classroom.
When the students first got the materials was in the kits that was send home for at home learning. The children was over the moon excited. One girl called her grandparents to let them know.
Adding numbers together is our next project and the children will be able to make number-bonds at home and ti use it at home during virtual teaching and in the classroom the few days are in.
Thank you again for making the children learning better.”

A special thanks to you all for your generosity in a very challenging year. Last year, as COVID hit, we were forced to make quick changes. Many of our students had to stay home with no manipulatives to make learning engaging, fun, and easy. Thanks to you, that was not the case for my amazing kindergarten class. I was able to meet my little friends in the local library to deliver things for them several times during the year. We were all able to learn using the same materials online. We truly had an amazing year full of growth and happiness.
I can't tell you how many times a day we used the Dry Erase Ticket Holder Pockets to study writing, spelling, math, and to draw together! Play-Doh became our most used tool of all. We were able to make letters and those that didn't have dice at home were able to make them. We used it to make little balls to count, then to add and subtract, and as a counter to cover our boards while playing bingo; that was very popular during our celebrations. We talked about emotions and built our faces, and we had a blast learning 2 D and 3 D shapes while using Play-Doh.
THANKS, many thanks for supporting our little ones. Our classrooms would not be as amazing as they are without your help. God bless you.”
