• Keeping Safe and Clean with Kleenex!

  There are not enough words to express my joy, gratitude, and thanks for your generous donations to my class project.

  It has been truly amazing sharing these much-needed supplies with all of my students. The individual Kleenex packs are actually a luxury and necessity to minimize sharing during our perpetual Covid times.

  We luckily received these supplies just in time for the start of cold season this school year, which helped relieve some anxiety from students who don't always have Kleenex tissues on hand. Thank you again!”

• Driving Our Robots to Victory!

  Funded Dec 5, 2022

  We requested these Sphero Robots to help our robotics team to practice their coding skills. However, soon my regular math students started requesting to earn 'playtime' on Fridays, using these robots.

  The joy and excitement this boosted in my classes extended outside our classroom, down the hall, into collaborative spaces, etc.

  These students got to enjoy the excitement that robots can bring in all forms of creative play.

  So, thank you for your generosity in helping me introduce robots into the world of all of my students.

• Kindness Starts With a Full Belly!

  My students will enjoy these breakfast and after school snacks, while at school or if they need to take some home. Now they can eat, drink, and have full bellies, so they can concentrate on getting in the right frame of mind to do some schoolwork.

  As an independent program, we don't have the same kind of nutrition program as larger public schools. So, we are left to find ways to provide some sustenance for our students.

  So, these snacks will go a long way to helping us feed them. I've already heard numerous students giving thanks, and asking if they are good to take a few items home for siblings or for the next day's breakfast.”

• Snack Time Is Fuel for the Soul!

  So thankful for the love and support you have shown my students. We are a small charter independent learning program, so we don't have a school lunch program. But we definitely have hungry students.

  When they arrive hungry, we can now share these snacks and give them some fuel for their day ahead.

  I titled this Project as Snack Time is Fuel for the Soul, because students receive more than just snacks. They get to know that there are people out there who are rooting for them.

  Knowing that people outside their community care about them, will far outweigh the nourishment they receive today.”

• Winter Blues Brings The Snow Ball!

  Our students waited patiently for things to go back to normal, but were dying to have a dance before the school year ended.

  Our ASB crew will be super excited to see this project was funded. More than anything, it is always a shock that strangers are helping us out.
