Thank you all so much for contributing to Mimeograph Madness. With your generous donations, we received several cases of paper that allowed my colleagues and I use our department Rizo (like a photocopier, only cheaper) to copy articles, worksheets, and packets for our chemistry and physics students. My physics students were able to do guided inquiry experiments, documenting their findings and graphing their results on worksheets and packets using the paper you provided. The students were engaged, and very much enjoyed the learning process. While it all looked fun, the course is actually very fast-paced and demanding. At the end of the two-year course, students took and international exam testing their knowledge and skills in physics. Thanks to your support, the students had the materials they needed to do well.
At our school, we do not have chemistry text books to reference or access to electronic devices in the classroom. Instead, I created customized packets for each chemistry student that provided background reading material, worksheets, and support materials for each unit. In a survey at the end of the year, students overwhelmingly preferred packets to keeping journals. These students also very much appreciated the gift from you, as the packets would not have been possible without to paper upon which to print them.
Again, while the supply of paper was not a glitzy gift, it was a basic necessity that helped all of my students. Thank you very much for your generosity.”
This letter is a small token of my appreciation for your generous donation to my classroom. The external storage we were able to get allowed my class to create and store bigger projects than had previously been possible. My advanced class enjoys researching projects and those essays use plenty of storage.
Our class has used the external storage everyday: saving homework assignments like essays, poems, and power point presentations.
Without donors like you, schools would not be able to bring new technology into the classrooms, to benefit their students.”

I want to thank you for your generous donation. The three chrome books have been extremely helpful in our classroom. They have allowed the children to have the world at their hands. Questions can be researched and answered in a flash! They are portable and as a result, groups of children can bring them anywhere in the room which allows for flexibility of movement.
Our school is facing a budget shortage and without your generous we could have never gotten 3 chrome books for our classroom. Without donors like you thousands of classrooms would go without the materials they need.”
My students are ecstatic! They saw the box get delivered to our classroom and immediately asked: "Are those the donations for our class?!" I showed them all the supplies that you have allowed us to get and were so excited to get started using them!
I have already started to see marked progress in less than a week of work! I have a student who has been below level in reading since the start of the school year due to his lack of sight word knowledge. Already I have seen his motivation return as he sets goals and challenges himself to beat the clock with his ability to say the words before time runs out! Thank you so much for the difference you are making in my students' lives. They are going to be so successful this year and beyond due to the sacrifice that you have made for them.
I wanted to thank you for your generous donations to my classroom. We use the Chromebooks every day, whether it is during writing, reading, or math. The Chromebooks have endless apps, which my students use for things such as creating powerpoints about books they read, making shapes with virtual geoboards, and listening to audio books. Frequent websites they like to visit include Razz Kids.com, Readwritething.org, and Dimension U.
Special education classrooms continue to lack the technology needed to help struggling students. Through your donations, not only am I able to better meet student needs, but I am also able to help prepare them for a world full of technology. Thank you again!”
Thank you for donation to our Epson - Color, Color, Everywhere request. The Epson scanner has been a great addition to our classroom. The scanner has allowed me to scan colored copies of images, resources, and materials to our interactive whiteboard system. This has made a huge impact on my student's engagment and learning. The students are more excited to learn when the materials are in color. Color makes things come alive and makes things life like for my students, which is extremely important with their disabilities. Thank you again for your amazing support and generous donations.”

Thank you so much for all of your kidness in donating to our classroom. The kids were so excited when the boxes from Donorschoose come. It is like Christmas for them in the classroom. Your help with our classroom is a great example to them on how to help others that need help. My students love getting to make cards and getting the chance to say thank you for all that you do for us. Without you it would be impossible to provide these things for our kids. Thank you so much for everything that you do to change the life of a child!”
I sincerely want to thank you for donating a document camera to my classroom. In everyday class instruction my students are able to closely view all of the things that we engage in during class and they do not miss anything. It has also impacted my students' confidence. They sincerely enjoy presenting to the class using the document camera. Giving them access to cutting-edge technology as such is truly preparing them to be college and career ready. Thank you for believing in my students and assisting me with developing 21st century speakers and listeners.
Thank you so much for helping fund our project! We have really enjoyed the Hot Dot Math/Science sets. The end of the year is approaching fast and we are starting to review for our end of year tests. The Hot Dots have been a HUGE help in doing so. The sets for both Math and Science follow our curriculum so well and add a fun and exciting way to review. Every day for a warm-up we have been doing Hot Dot rotations. The students work in table groups to find the answers to the questions on the cards. The Hot Dot pens are great because they are self-checking and let the students know right away when they have been succesful or not in answering the question.
Thank you for making our bullying campaign a success. My students have gotten the point across! Avoiding bullies, stepping up and speaking out, not being afraid, and getting involved to the fullest to stop it! We read the books Bullying in Schools aloud and pretended to be one of the victims in our role plays. We discussed the scenario and gave possible solutions and interventions to stop bullying! Our school participated in an anti-bullying campaign and my students prepared skits for the young students. The skits came with solutions on how to get involved and no longer be silent about bullying. I am so proud to have been part of such a noble campaign. Thank you so much for the wonderful donations to this project.”
