Welcome to our 5th grade reading language arts class, where we come together to enjoy reading and learning along the way! Everyday, we read together sharing not-only stories, but student's personal connections and ideas about our reading. We read stories that help students grow both: academically and personally. We build a culture that is goal-oriented, respectful, and helpful where students express themselves confidently and embrace different perspectives in our class discussions! This builds confidence and interest in reading that transfers to their independent learning time! I’m proud to say that the students truly grow each year into such intelligent, enthusiastic, and highly successful learners!
