In mathematics we are looking at supporting students' mathematical learning in the area of fractions as well as helping integrate with ADD-Vantage (AVMR). In order to maximize our Math Interventions, our classroom is looking to obtain engaging programs that reinforce our teaching, allowing students to work independently and experience success while filling in their learning gaps. iPads will provide crucial support for our learning community. Our class desires iPads because the apps developed by Virginia Tech and the U.S. Math Recovery Council (USMRC) (Candy Factory, Candy Depot, Candy Span, and Candy Bot) are educational games only found on iPads. We do not have everyday access to iPads.
