Interactive Instructional Time
Funded Jan 12, 2024My students were really excited to start using this resource. I had the opportunity to use this magnetic dry erase board to interact with them during instructional time. They were able to participate using their handwriting during math and literacy lessons since this board design allowed my students to comfortably handle magnetic letters and manipulatives to show their understanding of academic content. Also they used this board during self-selected centers to do art and use magnetic educational toys to stimulate their creativity and work collaboratively with others.
Than you so much for supporting this project.”

My Safe Place
Funded Mar 27, 2024My students really enjoyed using these new resources. All of my students showed a special interest observing and identifying emotions using the dolls and the emotions charts. This project positively impacted all of my students but principally several of my students who have been identified as having autism. They really in need of a place where they can relax and recoup their emotions after a stressful event. The lamps gave this safe space a cozy and calming environment that helped my students to explore with me relaxing strategies.
Thank you so much for funding this projects.”

Learning and Having Fun
Funded Aug 21, 2024My students enjoyed using these materials and it was possible for me to enhance their interest and participation during instructional time.
They also had the opportunity to improve their cooperative playing skills as well as their ability to include their imagination into playing. They used their new triangular crayons to complete art projects and develop their fine motor skills. My students could use their senses to develop their math skills since they could see and touch manipulatives and ten frames to practice these skills.
I am really grateful for all the donations that made it possible to fund this project.”

Funded May 16, 2020This project was completed during the pandemic quarantine. My students were in need
of educational materials to make their learning experiences more enjoyable while they were at home. They kept on developing their fine motor skills and learned how to track the day in their own calendar where they can draw daily experiences.
I had them pick up their materials in front of the school and their faces were illuminated with happiness. They really needed encouragement and to feel that they were still an important part of our school community.”
