• Explore and Learn by Being Active and Hands-On!

  My students have loved all of the fun educational games. One of the items that was a hit was a mystery box that has an object that goes with the each letter of the alphabet. The kids were so excited to grab something out of the mystery box and tell me what sound that item begins with. These items provided a hands on learning approach and it was exactly what my students needed. Your generosity has changed my classroom tremendously! I am keeping my students engaged, getting them up and moving around, and making learning fun!”

• Using Music in the Classroom to Promote Creative Expression!

  My students love the bells! We were able to perform "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" virtually to our entire school. This project helped us learn patience, colors, and self- control. These kindergartners amaze me!

  The students were surprised when I showed them the bells. They knew that the bells made sound, but did not know playing them together we could make music. They were fascinated and they had fun trying to guess the song that we were learning. The students were so proud to perform in front of the school and their families.

• Step Up to the Plate!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations! The team was extremely grateful and excited to get the new practice equipment. The coaches have been able to have stations at practice so every player is moving and learning. The team has said they really have enjoyed using the soft hands practice glove. The majority of the group have never used anything like that and it made practicing that certain skill more fun. We have played in one tournament and have started league play. The team continues to get better and work hard. Thank you again for all of your support!”

• Movement and Active Learning

  Thank you so much for your generosity! My students have loved using movement in their reading centers. The pillow seats make for a comfortable environment in our writing center. The sight word steps have encouraged more students to enjoy learning their sight word lists that need to be mastered by the end of 1st grade. I enjoy watching the children be creative and use critical thinking in the bridge center, house center,and vehicle building center. They are always asking me to take pictures of their work and put it on our class dojo website that their parents and family can see. I am truly grateful for all your donations!”

• 10U Baseball

  Funded Jul 13, 2017

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! This is a special group of boys that love the game of baseball. They eat, breathe, and live for those game days every Saturday. The team has incorporated the pitching machine, weighted gloves, and swing trainer into their team practices. We are undefeated and played a team this past Saturday that was undefeated as well. We lost 7-6, but the important thing is we got better! The boys continue to put forth effort and use the tools in practice to get better. Thank you again!”

• Youth Bulldog Baseball

  Funded May 31, 2017

  The 10u Bulldog Baseball team has been able to use these tools during practices and games. Each practice is set up in offense, defense, and agility stations. By using this equipment they have been able to improve their hitting skills and confidence. The coaches have said that the fungo bat has been very useful and easy to use. The pitchers have been able to use the pitching screen and really like it. It is very durable and the numbers are bold and bright. The team has nicknamed their team bat "Big Bertha" and it has definitely gotten some big hits! The Bulldogs got 2nd place in their 10U division league.

  The players were very excited to be able to use something different to help them improve their hitting. The insider bat is very unique looking and it made them really want to try it out and listen to the coach explain how to use it. They loved the bat and all wanted to use it! The helmet was given to a player that didn't have one and he wore it with pride.

  The next step is to keep practicing to get better. We have the tools and equipment to do it! Thank you!”
