Funded Mar 21, 2021The students had so much fun learning about ecosystems. They were able to create their own terrarium that the plants and fish had to work together to live. They learned that if the soil used had fertilizer in it, it would get into the water source and kill the fish.
They got to grow different types of plants and to see how changes in the environment can affect living things. We different wave colors of lights, no air, no water, clay soil, sandy soil and regular dirt to see how that would affect plants.
We got to finish out our unit by making tie dye shirts. This was to show that we can find ways on Earth to recycle, reduce and reuse. In turn, that will help the environment.”
