• A Clean Start!

  On behalf of my students and I, accept our heartfelt thank you, everyone has benefited from your kindness. Your thoughtful contribution enhances our space, providing safety and cleanliness for all my students. These items may seem simple, but they make a tremendous impact on our daily lives.

  My students were thrilled to see that the Genuine Joe Clean Step Outdoor Scraper Mat trapped tiny pebbles and the pesky deicer pellets/rock salt that get logged in the sole of shoes, sneakers, or snow boots and get tracked into the classroom. The Fuller Brush Electrostatic Carpet & Floor Sweeper is everyone's favorite tool and the children have learned turn taking as they share the task of maintaining the carpets clean.

  Thanks to your generosity, the children are now actively helping to keep their classroom clean, fostering a sense of responsibility, pride and care for their learning environment. Your support help my students create a sense of community, kindness and care.”

• STEM Is The Way To Learn!

  First and foremost, let me express our most heartfelt 'thank you' for your generous donation to our classroom project. My students and I are thrilled to have the wonderful Fully Loaded Mobile STEM Station Bundle, the STEM Science Station kit, the Sink or Float kit, the Turn Learn Magnetic Gears kit, and the Fairy Tales STEAM Kit to explore and learn from. Their faces lit up when they first saw all the new kits and puppets! The students are gathering to build various structures using their creativity and the different STEM kits.

  The materials have added more interest in the Science area as well as in the library and small toys areas making my students more engaged and more inclined to work and interact with the materials there. The addition of these STEM materials now promotes vital skills that they can carry with them throughout their educational experience.

• Reading, It's Contagious!

  First and foremost, thank you for your generosity in making my project a reality and donating books to enhance the classroom library in this project. These materials are being used to help enhance not only our classroom library but other areas in my classroom where the children share stories with friends and nurture the love of reading. I'm truly honored that you share my vision to provide my students with quality books to learn from. My students were excited to find out new books were added to the library and other areas in the classroom. Now they have the opportunity read all those wonderful stories during choice time or during small groups. They can now interact with friends and teachers and read exciting stories. These materials you donated have motivated my students to spend more time at the library reading alone or to a friend.

• Comfy Area To Learn And Play

  First and foremost, thank you for your generosity in making my project a reality and donating the Kids Ladybug Circle time rug, Kids Value PLUS Tranquil Pond Rug, and the Genuine Joe Clean Step Outdoor Scraper Mat in my classroom project. These materials are being used to help enhance various areas in our classroom where the children share stories with friends nurturing the love of reading, play, relax, or just be silly. My students now have the opportunity to play, learn and read stories in a comfortable and inviting area. I'm truly honored that you share my vision to provide my students with a comfortable and inviting place to play, learn or just unwind. My student's faces lit in admiration to find out they had new carpets in the library, block area and classroom welcome area. They can now read, interact with friends and teachers, and read exciting stories. These materials you donated have motivated my students to spend more time at the library reading alone or to a friend during their choice time.

• Carrying Case For A Safe Teaching And Learning

  Funded Nov 15, 2021

  Let me begin by thanking the amazing donors that selflessly funded this project. My students and I are grateful for your generosity in supporting our vision to provide children with a safe learning experience. The carrying case is a vital addition to maintaining a safe and clean learning environment. In addition to carrying disinfecting materials, it can store books, educational materials, and other manipulatives to keep the children engaged in meaningful learning. While we are away from the classroom, my students continue to follow CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of germs by independently cleaning and disinfecting materials before putting it back in the carrying case.

  Once again, I can't thank you enough for your generous donation that provided the necessary funds to make this much-needed item in this project a reality. You are truly angels watching over teachers and students helping them learn and be successful.”

• Technology For Virtual Learning!

  We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to the wonderful donors that selflessly funded this project. The children were ecstatic to learn that our classroom had new technology for virtual learning. The Apple Mac Pro Laptop and accessories had been instrumental in teaching my students both virtually and in-person by facilitating the delivery of lessons, seamlessly connecting other devises like a document camera to show my students a live feed of step by step demonstration of new skills and concepts. My students were delighted to clearly see the book's images and hear me reading the stories they love during our virtual lessons. The laptop and has been instrumental in allowing me to create and store the videos of each of the stories we read in class for later access.

  What my students love most of having a laptop is that we are able to explore and participate in virtual fiel trips to different places of their interest like museums, farms, even the fire house without leaving the comfort and safety of their home. Having a laptop had inspired them to learn more and be connected to their peers and me. They enjoy phonological awareness lessons much better when they were able to hear me, and I was able to have a clear understanding of what they were learning.

  Once my students attended class in person they embraced having this type of technology in the classroom. My students enjoyed the benefit of being able to explore and learn about various topics of their interest right at their fingertips.

• Learning Together In A Social Distance Hybrid Classroom

  Funded Apr 12, 2021

  I'm so moved by your generosity in funding my project "Learning Together In A Social Distance Hybrid Classroom". I was moved that you shared my vision to maintain safety and comfort while educating my young students. This project that you help become a reality has provided my students a personal space to learn and play as they follow CDC guidelines to maintain social distance while in school. The children love the fact that thy have their own space to read stories, practice writing and learn math, investigate, explore science, and even eat their meals.

  Since we added the desks in our classroom my student's attendance increased because they were more willing to come to school after being home for such a prolonged period during the pandemic. I have noticed how much the students have been learning ever since. They are more open and participate more in activities and classroom discussion.

  Also, I have been receiving positive feedback from parents because the children were telling family members how beautiful their classroom was, and they were big boys and girls because they had desks in school.

  Please receive my most sincere gratitude for help my students learn in a safe classroom. THANK YOU for making this happen!!!”
