The sixth and seventh grade students in my Language Arts and Social Studies classes attend a large, urban middle school in California. My classes are made up of students from diverse cultural backgrounds, including students who are in the process of learning English and students with special needs. All students have different learning styles and they are working on becoming more aware of how they learn best in my class. The students come in the door ready to learn with smiles on their faces, which inspires me to teach them everyday!
