Conquering the A.P. World History Exam
Funded Dec 27, 2019Thank you soooooo much for your contribution! This couldn't have come at a better time! My students just finished their first semester of AP World. Many of whom still do not feel as ready and continue to struggle with the reading. These prep books will facilitate their understanding and provide them with enough practice to be ready for the exam in May. Thank you so much! Happy holidays to you and yours and may the new year be filled with many blessings!”

Shhh! Headphones to the Rescue
Funded Apr 23, 2018There are not enough words that can express my gratitude. Thanks to your generous donations and kind hearts, I was able to provide my students with a safe and quiet testing environment during testing season.
Students used the privacy shields to minimize distractions during the test and many of them personalized their shields to promote positivity during testing, which can be stressful for many students. Additionally, students used the headphones for more than just a testing tool. They used the headphones to engage with tech-based lessons and multimedia activities that were assigned throughout the year.
Thank you so much for providing my students with these tools to be successful in the classroom and for helping me in maintain a safe and quiet testing environment during testing season.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Jimenez

Funded Nov 29, 2017There are not enough words that can express my gratitude. Thanks to your generous donations and kind hearts, my students were not only able to receive new books, but books they actually enjoy.
Students are connecting to the stories and learning while having fun. DEAR time has completely changed and students are taking advantage of the accessibility to books from a variety of genres.
Thanks to you, they are ecstatic to read books that will transport them to fun new places. The book "Lost in NYC: A Subway Adventure" has students excited and eager to learn more about New York and possibly visit it in the near future. Other books like "American Born Chinese" or "Diary of A Wimpy Kid" have cached many of my students' attention. It is always thrilling to see their imaginations grow as their reading levels increase too!
I cannot wait to continue to see my students develop into avid readers that enjoy reading for the sake of just reading.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Jimenez
