Funded Dec 9, 2024The care closet is such a vital part of the classroom and has benefits that the students carry with them both inside and outside of the classroom. The students reactions to seeing the deliveries come was first full of curiosity and as we began to unpack the boxes, curiosity soon turned into excitement and astonishment. They were jumping up and down. One student could be heard saying "I want Mac and cheese please!". We use the cafe closet to supplement what the students may not have or may want. They know that when they step into the classroom they never have to worry about being hungry or not having access to the things that they like. None of this would have been possible without you. Your generosity, kind heart and thoughtful mind is the reason that my students have access to a fully stocked care closet. Please know that every time that cabinet is opposed your kindness is felt. Every time a student takes something home your generosity is felt. We will forever be grateful for the comfort you brought to the classroom.”

Technology in Need
Funded Feb 16, 2025I truly wanna express our gratitude for not only your kindness and generosity but also your understanding. If it was not for individuals like you, some of the things that I do in my classroom will not be possible. What you have done for my classroom is incredible and it will never be forgotten. I strive to find every way possible to reach my students where they need me to reach them at. We are truly blessed to have individuals like you in our corner to make that possible.”

In Need of Headphones
Funded Aug 14, 2024I want to thank you for kindness in choosing to help my classroom. The impact of having headphones to use in the classroom for both educational moments and earning time moments has been huge. Not only does it allow to minimize distractions when working for the student wearing it but it also helps those students who have difficulties with sounds and does not want to hear anything. The generosity you have shown to my classroom is not something that will ever be forgotten. Every time a pair of headphones is used your kindness will be remembered. While words can not describe the impact you have made with my classroom we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Funded Oct 20, 2024I want to thank you for your kind heart and your wonderful generosity. Keeping the care closet open in the classroom would not be possible without your help. Having a care closet in the classroom allows the students to have access to both food and water that they could have in the classroom or take home. That is something that has a huge positive impact on everyone. When my students seen me carrying the packages into the classroom they were so very curious but when they seen me open it and they got to see the bottles of water, packs of macaroni and cheese, chef boyardee, cereal, chips and the snacks they became very excited. They know that when they come into school they will always have something they eat and something that they like. We have even been able to keep some of the cartons to utilize in classroom lessons. For example part of the boxes will be used to help construct a volcano as we learn about changes on the earth surface in science.”

Funded Jun 21, 2024It was because of your large heart and generosity that my students have access to technology that would have not had otherwise. We are able to use the kindles in a number of different ways. One of which is to allow the students to do research on child safe websites in order to help them with reaching their academic goals. Another way is for earning time. When the students finish their work they allowed to have a few minutes of choice time on educational websites and the kindles have been a game changer for that. They have even helped with testing. None of this would have been possible if it was not for your generosity. Please know that your kindness is felt all throughout my classroom.”

Funded Jun 19, 2024It is difficult to put into words what your generosity has given my classroom. Having access to a care closet within the classroom has not only had a positive impact on my students emotional well-being, but their educational well-being as well. Having a full belly, and having access to items that aids and an individual cleanliness changed a lot in a positive light. Though none of that would've been possible without you. Not only were we able to create baggies that anyone can take with them, but my students had access to bottled water whether they were inside or outside of the classroom. These items were even able to benefit students who came into the classroom to visit and desperately needed something to eat or something to help them be clean. Thank you for all that you have done for our classroom.”

Getting Comfy With Emotional Needs
Funded May 8, 2024Thank you for your consideration for children you don't know. It is because of your kindness that my sensory section within the classroom was able to fully functioning for my students. The laminating sheets allowed me to make social emotional learning activities that can stay in the sensory section that could last the entire school year. When my students first seen the flex seating couch they were very excited. It is the continuous excitement that has allowed them to freely access the sensory section independently and this was only made possible because of your help.”

Funded May 7, 2024It is thanks you that all of this is possible. When my students seen all the food and the care items they were beyond excited. I even had one student jump up and down and sing "we have food now". I can't express how much this has managed to touch all of our hearts. You made it possible for my students to not become sad or overwhelmed by the need for food and personal care items. Your kindness is something that we will always remember. I wish that I can truly put into words the magnitude of your generosity. You truly are a miracle to us.”

Funded Dec 28, 2023It is because of you that I was able to create books for my students. With the use of the binding machine I was able to create and bind not only books for ELA but for Math and Science as well. The binding machine allowed me to make books that could be sent home for my students to continue working on school based skills but it also allowed me to make bind that parents can keep to help with the students social emotional learning growth. I know that the possibilities for using this binding machine is endless and as I continue to teach this is a tool that will be used every year! Which would have an amazing impact on my students for time to come. None of this would have been possible without you.”
