I must keep my scholars minds fresh and open. I plan to do that through art and the latest technology. This will give them the opportunity to express themselves, build their imagination and self-esteem. It will let them know that different is okay and gives them the courage to take risks. I find it that adding a little hands on in any assignment makes them begin to think differently. I see a light bulb go off in my scholars when I begin to ask about their artwork or their experience. I enjoy bringing different opportunities to the classroom. Being flexible and engaging makes being a teacher so wonderful and I would not change it for the world.
