To be able to take a fine piece of literature and allow students to explore the exciting characters and events is a teacher's greatest wish. When emerged in a core literature unit, the entire class can go on a journey of discovery together. My students are third graders in a gifted program in an identified High Poverty school. They are students from all ethnic and economic backgrounds. Core literature is one of our basic forms of enriching the Language Arts program at our school. Due to major budget cuts, we have been unable to buy new core literature books for years. Your donations will allow these students the opportunity to enjoy a new core literature unit.
