  • Unmasking Mathematics

    Funded May 24, 2021

Thank you for your generous gift. My students really love the math magnetic manipulatives. These manipulatives really help the students retain their understanding of math objectives. This past year has been very eventful with most of my students being virtual. We began the year thankfully in person. We have much to recover, because we have to re-teach many objectives on a one to one basis. People like you are greatly appreciated because you care about the children's success. These math manipulatives will help so many other students.”

  • Coronavirus Can’t Keep Us Down!

    Funded Aug 3, 2020

My students and I are very grateful for your generous donations. I used the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to buy interactive activities as well as print rich materials. These materials have helped the students master objectives. They have used the materials to better understand reading comprehension and all of the Reading objectives. This year has been very difficult for my students, because of the pandemic, but thanks to caring people like you children get the necessary tools for their understanding of materials. Thank you again for your wonderful donation.”

  • Hurricane Harvey- Lonely Printer Needs Ink

    Funded Jul 27, 2018

Thank you for your generous donation. My students have benefited from the printer ink. They have received many interactive jobs. These interactive jobs guide their learning. We provide interactive jobs in all objectives. For example they receive these interactive jobs in parts of speech, in math objectives such as, place value, addition and subtraction, and many more. It makes me so happy when a child's eyes light up when they understand the objective at hand. We are in a district and school that has limited resources, so these resources have been greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your great donation.”

  • Chairs, We Need Chairs!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

The chairs were a wonderful donation. My students were so excited when we received them. My students love to sit and read with their fellow classmates.

The chairs have provided the students a place to sit during small group time with the teachers. They also use the chairs to work on the IPads or work with a favorite classmate. The possibilities are endless.

It is people/companies like you that provide economically disadvantaged children the same opportunities like any other child. We hope that your company continues to thrive , so that you can continue to donate.”

  • Houston Strong!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

The IPads and chairs were wonderful donations. My students were so excited when we received them. My students love technology. They could not wait to start using them. The IPads are used to help the students strengthen their understanding in Math, Reading and Writing. They really enjoy the various apps that provide learning and fun at the same time. We also use the IPads to provide more independent and partner work. The students really liked to sit on the chairs as they worked on the IPads. It is people/companies like you that provide economically disadvantaged children the same opportunities like any other child.”

  • Hurricane Harvey Can't Get Us Down!

    Funded Dec 11, 2017

My student and I are so fortunate to have the carpet you have donated to us. This carpet has provided a cozy place for students to sit down. Before we did not have a place for read-aloud as well as reading alone or with a partner. This carpet has also helped with discipline by having colored squares. They students are expected to seat on a designated color and transition back to their desk with ease. Each time my students complete work they enjoy going to the carpet to read or work with math centers. We also use the carpet to review for spelling test and have show and tell. Thank you again for your generous donation.”

  • Houston We have a Table

    Funded Dec 27, 2017

My students and I would like to thank you for your awesome donation of the kidney table. We were so happy when it arrived. They really enjoyed that the table top can be written on. We use this kidney table for small group and interventions. We recently worked on the water cycle. Some of the students enjoyed drawing the water cycle diagram and labeling it on the table. Also, the students really enjoy having more individualized time with their teacher. Thank you again for this generous donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cruz

The carpet would be used daily for all classroom instruction, especially read aloud and reading centers. It will also aide with classroom management, It helps that the carpet is divided into various colors. This will help provide a smooth transition from their desk to the carpet and vice versa. Also, The carpet is also beneficial because the students can complete independent assignments in a comfortable and warm place. The carpet also provides the student with a noiseless and structured place to complete their work. A carpet is a necessity in any classroom because it provides safety for the students a well as the teacher.
