    Funded Aug 11, 2008

I am so pleased that you decided to fund my proposal. As a fourth grade teacher, I am faced with a challenge. I've recently relocated to another crowded inner city school. My new classroom presents many of the same problems that were solved through the generosity of donors in my previous school. My quest for equity continues. My new classroom is unacceptably behind in both technology for excellent instruction, and in simple comforts like good books to read and even a little rug to sit on.
