  • Our New Basketball Team Needs A Scoreboard

    I would like to take this time to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donations. It is with your kindness that we were able to replace our broken scoreboard and the students are now able to keep track of the score and time left in the game. When the students saw the new scoreboard they were thrilled and love being the score keeper when they are not playing! Once again thank you so much for helping our students have a little more joy while playing the game they love! This not only put a smile on their face but helped us coaches focus more on instruction rather than the score and time!”

My students come from an area that has limited resources due to numerous reasons, the most being economic hardship. My students as a whole enjoy learning but in fun and captivating ways. This makes for a day filled with excitement and no two days are alike. My students also enjoy the normal age related activities like sports, music, art, and academics to a point. With this years state exams coming, these tools will allow my students to practice first hand the material needed to succeed in order to make it to a competitive middle as well as meet promotional criteria. My students deserve this opportunity not only to gain experience first hand in a vast number of areas but to have the feeling that no matter what trials and tribulations you face day in and day out, I can succeed. Lastly, it is hard for my class of 28 students to use technology on a regular basis but this will be a step in the right direction . Please!

About my class
