  • Everyone Welcome!

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

This project has made such a direct impact on students, their academic learning, and their social emotional learning. They have been able to experience hands-on learning again with games and activities that promote growth in a safe environment.

The students are the winners when people like you give to education. They know and understand that people care about them and their future.

Specifically, this project has been utilized by over 100 students already and more to come. Again, without people like you, we wouldn't be able to do this!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. M.

  • Shoot for the Moon

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

I have been working with the students to build these rockets over the last two weeks, and they are SO excited, they wanted me to invite you to our launch! I've included the information if you're local.

Through this process, I have realized that building rockets takes a bit of grit-a skill that is important for kids these days. They wanted to give-up initially, but as they persevered through it, they found it so rewarding, and fun. They are excited to have this new opportunity and wouldn't have had it without you. I can only imagine how much excitement the launch will be. Thank you for your support!”

    Mrs. M.

  • Brilliant Books

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity and contributing to our school library. All students can use these books to enjoy and explore their love for reading. Not only do the students love them, but teachers are checking them out regularly and using them as read alouds for their students, so all can experience the story. An example is when we built a butterfly as a school, and each teacher read a book about helping the Monarch butterfly survival. The students understood the importance of their work because of explanations in the book. Again, without you, we couldn't have had this opportunity.”

  • Maker Magic

    Funded Mar 31, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity and giving our students resources for the school Maker Space! To see their excitement and love for learning each time they come to the Maker Space is truly priceless. In addition to children being able to build and explore for themselves, many teachers have thoroughly enjoyed utilizing these resources in their classrooms as well. They have been used to teach concepts around social emotional learning, as well as content instruction. An example is we built a butterfly garden this last spring, and the students learned how to take care of butterflies and our environment from problem solving through STEM activities. Again, thank you for caring about our students and their future!”

  • Dig Into Diverse Books

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and contributing to our school library! At the beginning of this year, our average copyright date was 2000 with many of our books being very outdated. Now it is at 2008 and a lot of it is because of people like you. The kids have up to date, relevant resources and materials to enjoy. Circulation has increased by 200% and kids love coming to the library to get new books.

The best part about this project is that these books are used by over 160 students and by our entire school, preschool through 5th grade. Thank you for making such a huge difference in the lives of kids!”

  • Sewing Machines for Students

    Funded Sep 16, 2022

Sewing club is a total success at our school! Our first session had 8 students in it with several on a waitlist. We will be offering it for 8 new students in January. The students were so excited to get to make their very own "crayon" carrier. They were able to pick their own style of fabric, and they worked together to complete their case.

In January, the next group will make a hand bag, or "book bag." There will be 8 new students, but some of the students from the last group will join in to "mentor" the new students. The ultimate goal is to get all students in the school sewing! Little by little, this will happen. Thank you for your generosity and support with our sewing machine project!”
