Conscious Discipline weaves social and emotional learning into a management model and into the academic curriculum. With the toolkit, I will establish a safe corner in my classroom where students can practice and implement their newly learned self-regulation skills. Students will learn to recognize emotions in themselves and others, manage their own emotions, develop empathy, make good decisions, establish friendships, and learn to handle challenges successfully.
