My students live in a high poverty area in Los Angeles county. They attend a Title 1 school with free lunch for all. The majority of the students at my school site are English learners. My students enjoy learning and working in groups. They support each other to master skills. Often times they sit in pairs to complete math assignments or they help peers that are struggling with technology.
