My students attend a consolidated school in rural Nebraska. My students enjoy learning about different genres of music and applying that knowledge to the music they are playing in band. The school district has made a strong commitment to keeping the technology in the district updated. Resources are of course limited though. We have wireless Internet access and all students have Google accounts through the school. My large band classes do not fit in a computer lab and it is difficult to get a mobile computer cart due to high demand from other teachers. With 30 Chromebooks I will be able to have the students work in pairs or divide the class and have students rotate using the Chromebooks so they can work independently.
