Our students participate in reader's workshop every day. The students "book shop" once a week and select books to read during the morning for the rest of that week. They currently store their selected books in zip-lock bags. This poses many problems, and I am finding often limits their choices and quantity. With new durable book boxes, they can pick more books at the beginning of the week and that will ultimately mean they will read more during reader's workshop. With the goal of improving and growing their reading level, it is imperative that we have the supplies necessary to achieve a successful reader's workshop.
