• Enjoyable Reading

  Thank you so much for your generosity. My class is learning in a comfortable environment. Your contribution made such a difference! Not only it is useful this year but it will be useful for years to come. It is the little things that make a huge difference. Reading in a comfortable environment helps the children comprehend what they are reading and learning. Reading in comfort goes a long way. They were so excited to see these chairs and take turns. It brought so much joy in my classroom. Thank you once again!”

• Fun With SIX!

  I am so thankful for the chance you have given my students and I to progress in their education. We have been working comfortably with no distractions in small groups, and I must say many of my students have been doing very well. Not only does the table make our room more attractive, but my students are so eager to learn in small groups. I am able to conduct more small groups than I use to. I feel my small group work with my students have been productive instead of confusing, and sad to say at times useless, because of the many distractions and us being uncomfortable. We appreciate it and we appreciate you! It may seem like something minor but to us it means the world!”

• Learning Through Attractive, Bright, and Colorful Tools

  Dear Donors,

  My students an I were super excited to receive the printer in class. Thank you so much for helping our class with this wonderful printer we now use. It may not seem like much but to my class it is greatly appreciated. We are so excited to learn a lot this school year with bright colorful worksheets, word walls, activities and more. My students asked how do we use the printer and i told them all the fun things i am now able to print in class for them, they are looking forward to new games and word walls.

  We have already started using the colored printer to print fun activities that the students are now willing to play. With the colors the students can see what to do better and they are able to call out the colors, "Look over at the green labels to help you." My students love looking at the word wall with the brightly colored words and pictures to help them understand. I am so happy that this is making a difference in their learning.

  This is the first year where I am motivating my kids even more because of a printer. My students are eager to write with more details so they can type their stories and have it printed too. We were never able to type our stories because we didn't have a printer to print it, now I am allowing 4 students a week to type their stories and have it printed out . I am excited to see the results and teach them with brightly colored resources.

• Interactive Reading Fun! Hoping to Reach Our Limitless Goals

  My class and I are so thankful for the Elmo we have. This has helped my class on many levels. I use it for shared reading to have more students participate and follow along, interactive writing to keep students engaged, science experiments to look at details and going over our homework so students can correct their work.

  My students love when we use the Elmo. They are so intrigued at how anything I have under the camera displays on the smart board. I assign a moniter each week to turn the Elmo on and off when we use it and they work hard to be the moniter. The thing that most excites my students about the Elmo is interactive writing. They like seeing their writing occurring on the smart board from the paper under the camera. This has increased my students writing skills.

  My lower students have become more engaged and brave using this Elmo. They weren't too engaged when we had shared reading or interactive writing because sometimes the book or writing was difficult to see. Now all students can see clearly on the smart board and when we read a book over and over together, my lower students then become familiar with the story and the words and they want to go up to the classroom and try to read the story. I was so happy to see this happening. This Elmo has made a huge impact on all the students in my class! I am forever thankful!”
