Our wonderful 2nd grade ICT class, with two teachers, is filled with a diverse group of learners. Our school is a Title I School in South Brooklyn where most of the students come from a low-income household and a diverse background. In our school, 100% of the students receive free lunch. We are diverse not only in our socio-economic status or cultural diversity but also in our learning ability. One third of our class has an Individualized Education Plan which requires us to modify the curriculum to meet their individual needs and learning style. Our classroom lacks basic supplies for our daily routine. Our class is curious, eager and diverse. We are always looking for new innovative ideas and supplies and tools we can use to help us succeed.
